The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the West African Development Bank (BOAD), Serge Ekué, announced on Monday, June 13, 2022, the appointment of Sokhna M'BAYE as the new Director General of BOAD Securitization.

The appointment of Adji Sokhna M'BAYE as Director General of BOAD Securitization takes effect on April 4, 2022. The new leader of the limited company with a capital of FCFA 500 million, joined the Natixis group in Paris and then in Hong Kong in 2011 as a specialist in derivatives. She continued her career at Citigroup London and New York as Head of systematic indices. In 2019, she joined Morgan Stanley and became Executive Director of Systematic Indices.

For President Serge EKUE, financing mechanisms call for more and more technicalities and compliance with international standards, and therefore require new and experienced expertise. "I am delighted to have been able to convince Ms. Mbaye to join us at BOAD TRITISATION and very happy to welcome her among us," he said of the appointment.

With more than ten years of experience in the fields of Banking, Finance and Financial Markets, particularly in structured finance and systemic strategies, the new Director of BOAD TRITISATION will be in charge of the implementation of the new strategy.The new Director of BOAD Securitization will have as her main missions, to manage the Common Funds of Securitization of Receivables (FCTC) of the UEMOA space under the authority of the Board of Directors of BOAD Securitization.
