Dakar, March 27 (APS) – The Senegalese Ministry of Finance and Budget announced on Friday the opening of a bank account called "Special Account Coronavirus/Covid-19 Fund" on the books of the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) to collect the various financial contributions to the fight against against Covid-19.

A bank account number SN000010010000006025215/BIC CODE BCEAO : BCAOSNDA entitled "Special account coronavirus/Covid-19 fund" is opened, in the name of the Treasurer General of Senegal, in the books of the BCEAO, said the Ministry of Finance in a statement sent to APS.

This account is intended to collect the various financial contributions in the context of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic following the call for national and international solidarity launched by the State of Senegal, it is specified.

For the transfer from abroad (excluding UEMOA), it is necessary to indicate the account n° : SN000 01001 000000060252 15 BIC CODE: BCAOSNDA entitled '' Special account coronavirus / Covid-19 fund ''.

As this is a national transfer and other WAEMU countries, it is necessary to indicate the account n° : SN750 01010 000003683106 74 BIC code: TRPNSND1 Entitled "FORCE COVID-19", explains the Ministry of Finance and Budget.

Cash payments or cheque remittances are allowed at all Treasury counters throughout the national territory, according to the same source.

The checks are made payable to the Treasurer General of Senegal Covid-19, says the guardianship, assuring that "all contributions will be made against issuance of a bank receipt, a receipt from the Treasury or any other document in lieu of the payments made to the s of its counters''.
