On Tuesday, March 31, 2026, in Ouagadougou, the Steering Council of the Patriotic Support Fund (FSP) met under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Rimtalba Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo.

The Patriotic Support Fund confirms its momentum with the mobilization of over 45 billion FCFA in the first quarter of 2026. This first session of the year recorded financial mobilization exceeding 45 billion CFA francs.

According to official figures, the FSP precisely mobilized 45 billion 298 million 610 827 FCFA during the first quarter of 2026, representing 22.65% of the annual target estimated at 200 billion FCFA. This meeting also provided an opportunity to review the fund's three years of existence. The results show notable performance, with a total amount mobilized of 496,966,246,105 FCFA, against an initial forecast of 400 billion FCFA, representing an achievement rate of 124.24%.

In the distribution of resources, tax revenues hold a dominant position with over 22.7 billion FCFA, representing 50.22% of the total. These are followed by mandatory deductions from public sector employees' salaries, amounting to 11.2 billion FCFA, or 24.94%. Contributions from the telephony and television sectors also total 5.1 billion FCFA, corresponding to 11.31% of the mobilized resources. Additionally, voluntary contributions and salary assignments demonstrate the continued involvement of citizens and the diaspora.
