The Prime Minister indicated during the presentation of the Economic and Financial Program of Cameroon, that the revenues customs reached 830.1 billion FCFA as of September 30, 2025.

The 830.1 billion FCFA reached on September 30 2025 represents 73.05% of the annual target set at 1,136.2 billion FCFA, confirming the upward trajectory observed since the start of the fiscal year. This performance places the customs administration on a slope compatible with the achievement, or even the approach, of the intended target in finance law.

Another pillar of this performance: intensifying the fight against fraud. “The combined efforts of competent authorities have made it possible to carry out several seizures of goods, with an estimated value of nearly 8 billion FCFA”, underlined the head of government. These offensive actions contribute directly to sanitation commercial channels and to secure the tax base, thus guaranteeing fairer and more effective recipes

With a traditionally longer last quarter active, the authorities are counting on a continuation of this dynamic. For 2025 as a whole, the Directorate-General of Customs is now aiming for a collection of 1,114 billion CFA francs, up by 88.1 billion compared to 2024. This projection illustrates the proactive strategy of the Ministry of Finances: sustainably strengthen the mobilization of non-oil revenues.

The goal is to have an efficient customs, at Department of Competitiveness and Public Finances in Cameroon.
