After the difficulties encountered during the first three months in mobilizing finance on the UEMOA public securities market, the Ivorian State has registered another success.

Ivory Coast has succeeded in raising 66 billion CFA out of the 60 billion put in Bookman Old Style”, "serif">adjudication for its issuance of Treasury bills and similar bonds on the financial market of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (UEMOA). The funds mobilized will be used to finance the national budget estimated at 11,694 billion CFA francs in 2023. Indeed, the operation was carried out on 17 April 2023 with a coverage rate of 130.17%, entitling to 78 billion FCFA in total served by regional investors, the overwhelming majority of whom come from

Côte d'Ivoire.

While Côte d'Ivoire has already repaid 354 billion FCFA this year, including interest payments, this issue brings to more than 630 billion FCFA the total amount raised this year on the public securities market by

adjudication , organized by UMOA-Titres.
