The second edition of the “Invest in Senegal” (FII) forum will be held from 7 to 8 October 2025 in Diamniadio. On the occasion, the National Agency in charge of promotion of investments and major works (APIX) hopes to bring together more 10,000 billion CFA francs in terms of commitments and promises of investments.

During a point Press report on the preparations for the FII forum, Habibatou Emmanuelle Thiam, the director of investment promotion at APIX recalled that the commitments made by investors during the first edition of the FII amounted to some 6,300 billion CFA francs. “We hope to exceed The 10,000 billion CFA franc mark in terms of intentions of investments,” she said. “We hope that agreements will be tied [during the 'Invest in Senegal' forum] for the realization of our ambitions,” she added.

According to Thiam, even though many major investors will come from abroad, APIX expects those from Senegal to take the first place because the facilities granted to them with the country's latest reforms, including the most recent revision of the Investment Code.
