"The main areas of intervention of the Ministry of the City stem from the National Policy of the City and take into account the strong inequalities in spatial and social integration (...) The vision of the Ministry of the City is to "Build the sustainable cities of tomorrow", he indicated. According to Minister François Albert Amichia, this budget will allow his ministerial department to develop five (5) major strategic axes, namely: Strengthen governance around the sustainable city in Côte d'Ivoire; Promote inclusive cities; Promote productive Ivorian Cities; Promote green and resilient cities and support risk prevention and develop capacities and knowledge. He made it clear that the National City Policy, adopted by the Council of Ministers on February 19, 2020, is a program that will extend over five (05) years (2022-2026) to allow a radical and harmonious change of our cities in synergy with the other ministries engaged in urban management. Created by the will of His Excellency Alassane OUATTARA, President of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire, the Ministry of the City is in charge of the implementation and monitoring of the Ivorian Government's policy on the City.
