Little Penguin will launch Wave Digital Finance on November 17, 2022, with the presence of the Senegalese authorities and UEMOA. This is a logical follow-up to the authorization to issue electronic money (EME) from the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) last April. With this authorization, the Wave Mobile Money Group will be able to offer its services directly to its customers without having to go through partner banks, as has been the case until now.
