The management of Coris Bank International (CBI) S.A has published the biannual activity report prepared by the banking institution. The document shows a 19.4% increase in net income.

The net profit established in Ouagadougou by Coris Bank International increased by 19.4% in the first half of 2022 compared to the first half of 2021. This net income stood at 27.109 billion FCFA compared with 22.706 billion FCFA as of 30 June 2021, an increase of 4.403 billion FCFA.

With respect to net banking income (GNP), it grew by 23% during the same period. Officials at Coris Bank International explain this increase by 33.7% in revenues from treasury activities, a 5.0% increase in customer interest margin linked to changes in deposit collection (+14.8%) and financing at customers (+15.8%), as well as the increase in net commissions (32.4%).

Data compiled by the Bank's management indicate an increase of 12% in general operating expenses, with an achievement that rose from 14.325 billion FCFA to 30 June 2021 to 15.995 billion FCFA a year later.
