The announcement of this loan was made last Wednesday by Symbiotics itself, which is an impact investment platform based in Geneva (Switzerland). Thanks to this sum, 6 countries in sub-Saharan Africa, namely Senegal, Côte d'Ivoire, Madagascar, Nigeria, Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), will have more secure access to electricity. Recall that 9 months ago, Norfund granted 10 million euros to Baobab+. Substantial investments that will allow the company to carry out its electrification projects in the countries concerned.
