The rating agency GCR Ratings (GCR) has placed AAA (WU) long-term issuer and A1+ (WU) short-term issuer ratings of the African Solidarity Fund (FSA) on an extension of the review.

GCR plans to finalize and update the scoring results by October 31, 2025. The ratings given during of the last review remain valid and unchanged until the the review process is comprehensive.

In the long run, this notation reflects The ability of an issuer to honor its obligations financial, in particular the payment of interest and the repayment of debt, over the next three to five years. GCR claims that no party of the rating process was not influenced by other business activities from the credit rating agency; ratings are based solely on merits of the rated financial entity, security, or instrument; and these ratings are an independent assessment of the risks and merits of the entity, security, or of the rated financial instrument.
