The latest edition of Africa financial markets index (Afmi) 2025, was published by the Official Forum of Institutions monetary and financial (Omfif) in partnership with the banking group Absa and with the participation of the commission United Nations Economic Agency for Africa (Cea). She mentioned that African financial markets continued to strengthen, despite a global context marked by economic uncertainty.

Africa financial markets index 2025 highlights that African economies are making tangible progress through reforms major structural structures and a dynamic of sustained financial innovation. According to At Afmi 2025, the credibility of exchange rate policies was significantly strengthened in countries like Nigeria and Uganda, while several economies have modernized their legal framework with the adoption of new laws on financial compensation or netting.

noted that the 2025 ranking places Africa in South, Mauritius and Nigeria at the top of African financial markets more efficient. The best progressions went to Rwanda, Botswana and Ghana, thanks to their efforts in regulation, transparency and of regional integration.
