On the official currency market, the Algerian dinar continues to depreciate against the main currencies, notably the euro and the US dollar.

According to the latest official quotations from December 31, 2020 to January 5, 2021 published by the Bank of Algeria, the single European currency stood at 162.38 dinars for purchase and 162.42 dinars for sale. A new historical record for the euro against the Algerian dinar.

For the US dollar, it trades at 132.12 dinars for purchase and 132.13 dinars for sale according to the same quotation dates.

With regard to other currencies, note according to the latest quotations that the pound sterling is exchanged at 180.25 dinars for purchase and 180.29 dinars for sale and the Swiss franc stood at 14,993 .69 dinars for purchase and 14,997.09 dinars for sale.

For the currency of our neighbors, we find the Moroccan dirham which is exchanged at 14.8163 dinars for purchase and 14.8180 dinars for sale, the Tunisian dinar is exchanged at 49.06 dinars for purchase and 49.56 dinars for sale. And finally, the Libyan dinar is quoted at 98.52 dinars for purchase and 99.03 dinars for sale.
