On the night of Saturday 25 to Sunday 26 October 2025, the Republican Police carried out a large-scale operation in Godomey, in the town of Abomey-Calavi. According to information reported by Peace FM, the intervention led to the arrest of 82 people, including 11 women.

Everyone arrested were taken into custody for acts related to the use of psychotropic products. At the same time, several cases of cybercrime have been detected among the implicated.
