A total of 23 Nigerians are being prosecuted for scams, international fraud and criminal conspiracy. The Special Cybercrime Division (Dsc) of the National Police has dismantled their vast cybercrime network in Mbao.

 

These 23 cybercriminals, through fake Facebook profiles, were eating and blackmailing, from Dakar, people trained in cyberspace. They were arrested and taken into custody. Several computers that allowed them to scam their victims were seized. According to the Nigerian police, they are being prosecuted for fraud, international fraud and criminal conspiracy.
