"We have taken measures to meet the liquidity needs mentioned," reassured  the president of the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Côte d'Ivoire (Apbef-CI), Daouda Coulibaly, during a meeting with the Minister of Economy and Finance Adama Coulibaly and the Minister of Trade and Industry, Souleymane Diarrassouba, who aimed  to ensure that the recommendations of the Bceao were taken into account, on Monday, March 23 in Abidjan.

Indeed, to corroborate the arguments of the president of Apbefci, Minister Adama Coulibaly revealed that liquidity has been increased to date to 340 billion CFA francs. Adding that the Bceao will provide additional resources of 1050 billion CFA francs with the admission to listing of 1700 new companies.

According to  the Ivorian Minister of Economy and Finance, the Bceao will  regularly  feed ATMs to allow people  to withdraw  these  resources in ATMs without difficulty.

 "We continue to serve our customers throughout the country. We are aware that these are difficult times. It is in these moments that we have to face the difficulty and we must stick together to get out of it, "says Daouda Coulibaly, also director general of Société ivoirienne des banques (Sib).
