Universal Health Coverage (CMU) treated 211,966 people as of 30 August 2022 in 494 health centers that they attended. This is the report prepared by Dr Djè Djè Oi Hyacinthe, Regional Director of Health, Public Hygiene and Universal Health Coverage in Agboville.

At the conference of heads of services, regional and departmental directors and the corps prefectoral under the theme “La CMU”, Djè Koi Hyacinthe said that “The statistics relating to the care of insured persons as of 30 August 2022 reveal that 211,966 insured persons were taken care of or treated. The number of health centers visited is 494 and the number of public and private pharmacies visited is 876. The localities where the benefits were provided were 199 and 1,088,279 medical procedures were carried out. The CMU card is an important map. The proof is that it is the only mandatory insurance and the others are complementary.”

This basket consists of 300 services. Access to CMU benefits is authorized after observing the waiting period, which is three months, from the date of payment of the first contribution. 3,509,800 people were enrolled for a population of 29,389,150, representing 12% of the target as of September 30, 2022 2022 according to the doctor.
