It is with these words that Didier Drogba, former captain of the national football team, decided to support the AlimenTERRE Awareness Campaign in Côte d'Ivoire, launched on Thursday March 25, 2021 in Abidjan.

The word “FoodTERRE” is specifically used to draw attention to the intrinsic link between the quality of the land, which also depends on how it is nourished and maintained, and the quality of the food it produces for people.

This citizen education initiative, particularly for producers and politicians, is an invitation from Inades Formation to promote and work for the right to healthy and sustainable food and to fight against pesticides and chemical fertilizers, in the 10 countries where this institution operates. in Africa.

“Numerous analyzes and research confirm that the use of chemical inputs in agriculture endangers human health and that of the Earth and thus constitutes a real threat to the right to food. The promotion of food systems that promote a dignified life for all has become a major issue,” says Sena Adessou, Secretary General of Inades Formation.

"This campaign demonstrates Inades-Formation's desire to contribute to the realization, in African countries, of the right of populations to sufficient, healthy and sustainable food, through increased food citizenship and active monitoring of compliance with the obligations of the parties. stakeholders in this area, with an emphasis on the rights of the most vulnerable people and groups," says Digbeu Tetiali, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Inades Formation.
