Abidjan, Jul 18 (AIP)- The General Manager of the Caisse des dépôts et consignations of Côte d'Ivoire
(CDC-CI), Lassina Fofana, is considering a frank collaboration with the Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Côte d'Ivoire (APBEF-CI).
As part of its missions of custody and secure management of public and private funds provided for by law, the CDC-CI has decided to maintain good relations with banking and financial institutions in the implementation of this new law.
The CEO, Lassina Fofana, has decided, in his approach strategy, to highlight the complementarity between his structure and the banking establishments, insisting on the spirit of collaboration and the establishment of a partnership between the CDC -CI and APBEF-CI bringing together all banks and financial institutions at the national level.

The president of the APBEF-CI, Guy Koizan, welcomed this initiative and pledged to help strengthen this nascent collaboration.
The CDC-CI was created by Law No. 2018-574 of June 13, 2018 as part of the implementation of national development plans which constitute the compass in terms of State investment, with the mission of structurally transform the Ivorian economy.
In the short and medium terms, it plans to finalize ongoing partnerships, mobilize resources, set up innovative savings and pension products and develop the management of financial assets on behalf of third parties and for its own account.
