Concerned about the issue of taxation, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Côte d'Ivoire expressed  concerns on Monday, January 25, during the presentation of the 2021 tax schedule, at the headquarters of the Ivorian Federation of Small and Medium Enterprises of Côte d'Ivoire (FIPME) in Abidjan.
Entered into force on January 8, this tax annex, which includes 33 measures, does not seem to favor small and medium-sized enterprises, according to Dr. Boguifo Joseph, director general of fipme.
In the new Finance Act, two new regimes have been created (the enterprising regime and the micro-enterprise regime) each with a new method of taxation. And in addition, it is now the percentage of turnover that is claimed from the company in terms of taxes.
