In its role as a pension fund, the CNPS, with 777 billion CFA francs from its financial portfolio, could indeed acquire 12% of the shares in this group. This information follows the statement of the Director General of the CNPS, Denis Charles Kouassi, who announced in anticipation, an investment of 2,000 billion CFA francs in the economy during a forum on the Caisses de dépôts et de consignation organized in Abidjan. "We place these surpluses on the financial market with the rules of safety and profitability," said the first head of the National Fund.

Leader in electricity production in West Africa, through its subsidiary Ciprel, the Eranove group could further increase its activities, which already extend to Gabon and Madagascar. This, thanks to this equity investment.
