The Caisse Régionale de Refinancement Hypothécaire (CRRH-UEMOA) approved the accounts of the CRRH-UEMOA for the 2020 financial year with a net result of 1.308 billion FCFA. This result is up +5.2% compared to the result achieved of 1.243 billion FCFA in 2019. These figures were delivered at the end of its 10th Ordinary General Meeting held by videoconference on April 30.

The Ordinary General Meeting authorized under the 2021 program of activities of the CRRH-UEMOA, the issuance of bonds, up to eighty billion (80,000,000,000) FCFA, for the refinancing of housing loans granted by shareholder banks.

The CRRH-UEMOA, a regional initiative in favour of better housing financing in WAEMU countries, aims to mobilize long-term resources at competitive rates, for the benefit of its shareholder banks and SFD, for the refinancing of housing loans granted to their customers.

On 31 December 2020, the CRRH-UEMOA has granted, in almost nine years of operational activities, refinancings totalling 222.5 billion FCFA for the promotion of housing financing in favor of 37 shareholder banks covering the 08 WAEMU countries.
