In Côte d'Ivoire, the third edition of the Innov'Assistant International Fair was held from May 2 to 4 at the Palais de la Culture in Abidjan. Where was announced the creation of a university of Secretarial Sciences. Organized by the Ivorian League of Secretaries, this fair promotes all the know-how within the profession of the secretary. And also aims to be a framework for reflection on the development of the secretary's profession.

“The major project of the Ivorian League of Secretaries, LIS, is the creation of a university of Secretarial Sciences” . This is the main information delivered by Assalé Catherine, President of the LIS, at the opening of the 3rd edition of the Innov'Assistant International Exhibition.
This project, she said, is the main recommendation of the International Colloquium on the future of the secretariat held in the Ivorian capital from April 18 to 24, 2005. It is a way for LIS to enable the secretary to be a professional capable of maintaining the "boss-secretary tandem". And give them a career profile as in any trade.
This requires a good general knowledge, a high level of study and a mastery of the tools of their professional environment. Hence the theme of this show, namely: From collaborative assistantship to managerial assistantship.
The third edition of the Innov'Assistant International Fair was also an opportunity to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Ivorian League of Secretaries. And also celebrate the pioneers of this association.

These women who, on April 11, 1978, expressed their dissatisfaction with a job offer which required for a post of secretary, a secretary who was both French and the wife of a cooperator. Excluding, therefore, any Ivorian candidacy. The indignation of these women therefore led to the creation of this association to promote awareness of the role and place of the secretary in society.
For 3 days, the Innov'Assistant International Exhibition allowed reflection to constantly improve the living and working conditions of secretaries. Reflections in which the member countries of the African Federation of Secretarial and Executive Assistant Professionals and the French Federation of Assistantship and Secretarial Professions took part.
