The directors of the Société Ivoirienne de Câbles (Sicable) announced today in Abidjan that the company will pay an overall net dividend of 418.480 million FCFA to its shareholders on August 2, 2022.

The dividend to be paid represents 55.2% of the share's nominal value, which is 125 FCFA. As of December 31, 2021, Sicable had made a profit after tax of 40.094 million FCFA against 1.166 billion FCFA as of December 31, 2020, representing a sharp drop of 1.126 billion FCFA. Its turnover had increased by 0.73% to 19.036 billion FCFA against 18.898 billion FCFA in 2020. On the other hand, a drop of 17% was noted in the company's added value with an increase of 2.767 billion FCFA compared to 3.328 billion FCFA in 2020. As a reminder, a similar downward trend characterized operating income in 2020.
