For some time, national and international news has been dominated by the appearance of the coronavirus disease still called COVID 19.

Coronavirus disease, which manifests itself as fever, cough and shortness of breath, or even difficulty breathing in the most severe cases, is transmitted through direct contact with respiratory droplets produced by an infected person or through contact with contaminated surfaces.

The Professional Association of Banks and Financial Institutions of Côte d'Ivoire (APBEF-CI) wishes to reassure the population that its members have taken safety and hygiene measures to allow customers to carry out their various operations serenely.

It informs all partners that all measures are implemented to maintain business continuity and the handling of operations in good conditions of hygiene and safety.

The APBEF-CI invites customers to respect the measures taken in credit institutions, and recommends avoiding as much as possible non-essential travel on sites through the use of new technologies, including e-banking, sms-banking, telephone, e-mail and payments by credit card or cheque, the aim being to reduce the concentration of people and to use banknote handling as little as possible.
