On Wednesday, February 18, the Ivorian minister Department of Mines, Petroleum and Energy, Mamadou Sangafowa-Coulibaly, was received by the Vice President of Botswana, Ndaba Gaolathe, to begin a mission of work focused on the adoption of the “Botswana model” of resource management, recognized worldwide. The partnership between Côte d'Ivoire and Botswana aims to take advantage of Botswana's expertise in the processing of natural resources, especially diamonds, to make them a driver essential for sustainable development.
