Côte d'Ivoire and Nigeria strengthen their cooperation with nine new agreements. It was within the framework of the second session of the Joint Cooperation Commission which brings together experts and decision-makers from the two countries.

The Ivorian and Nigerian governments signed on November 6, 2021 in Abidjan, nine (9) bilateral agreements to strengthen their relations in several areas. This signing of the agreement comes after works which lasted from November 4 to 6, 2021, in accordance with the will and instructions of the Ivorian presidents Alassane Ouattara and Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari. The two parties notably reaffirmed their commitment to consolidate their relationship through new protocols. The Ivorian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kandia Camara informs that ten (10) draft agreements are under negotiation.
