Tunound leaders of the "Agri-tech Tunisia" project designed by the Tunisian company Stecia International and funded by the European Union, organized a virtual press conference. On the occasion, the ambassador of Senegal in Tunisia, Ramatoulaye Bâ Faye, magnified Wednesday the excellence of the relations of friendship and cooperation between Dakar and Tunis, reflected according to her by the importance of the volume of their trade.

According to diplomat Ramatoulaye Bâ Faye, Senegal and Tunisia maintain fraternal and cooperative relations "based on shared values".  The volume of trade reflects these excellent relations between the two countries. The private sector has also contributed to the dynamics of these relations between our two countries ," she said. The two countries cooperate across many sectors, including agriculture, higher education, culture, trade, etc. Ramatoulaye Bâ Faye insisted on the interest of strengthening South-South relations in priority areas, such as agriculture, "a very powerful lever for economic growth". She also noted the dynamism of the private sector in both countries, which marks the opportunity for South-South cooperation beneficial to both countries. The "Agri-tech Tunisia" project, implemented by Expertise France, aims to support the strengthening, structuring and enhancement of the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
