2025 adopted a decree authorizing the ratification of loan agreement no.
2025038/PR CI 2025 22 00, in the amount of 37 billion CFA francs. Ce
financing is intended to build 4,300 social housing units in Abidjan and
in several inland cities.
The financing agreement was signed on August 28, 2025

from Ivory Coast. It focuses on the construction of social housing and
economic, as well as on the third phase of a program already under way in
Yamoussoukro and Bouaké. The project includes the construction of 2,360
accommodations in Abidjan PK24, 420 in Yamoussoukro and 1.520 in Bouaké, with for
objective of improving people's access to decent housing and
financially affordable.
In addition, phase 3 of program includes the development of the Yamoussoukro (3 ha) and Bouaké sites (6 ha), as well as the construction of 1,100 additional homes, including 420 in Yamoussoukro and
680 in Bouaké.
