The 2021 edition of the African Conference of the Econometric Society (AFES 2021) was launched this Thursday, at the National School of Statistics and Applied Economics (ENSEA) in Abidjan. such as, "Improving Pre-Secondary Education in Africa: Key Challenges and Solutions for Human Capital Development", "Education Policies for Sustainable Success" and "Secondary Education Performance: Ghana's Experimental Case" are on the agenda of this conference which will end on 5 June.

The African Conference of the Econometric Society aims to promote across the continent the culture of economic analysis based on state-of-the-art quantitative methods based on statistical and econometric theories. It offers a unique framework for bringing together researchers and decision-makers from across Africa and the West, while fostering a strong synergy between African researchers and their overseas peers.

The Econometric Society is an international society for the advancement of economic theory in relation to statistics and mathematics. It is the world's largest forum of economists including world-renowned academics in economics and related disciplines.
