The final of the “Hacker Lab 2022” competition for cyber security was officially launched on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 in Cotonou in the Beninese capital. At the end, the Mauritanian “Deyloul” team, led by Abdallahi Ould Sidiya, Mariem, Adel and Aziz, came out third.

“The participation of youth from the Economic Community of West African Countries (ECOWAS) against cyber threats. ”, this is the slogan under which “Hacker Lab 2022” was launched. Indeed, held online, the first part of this competition took place last August. At the end, eleven teams qualified for the final, including Mauritania and a few ECOWAS countries. The main objective of this competition is to identify talents and support young people in the field of technology and to create regional expertise in the field of cyber security.
