Côte d'Ivoire held its^5th national digital academy on Thursday, September 15. This academy is launched under the label Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA), thanks to a partnership between Alliance Smart Africa, a pan-African think tank, and the Ivorian Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy.

With the intention of bridging its digital skills gap by 2025, Côte d'Ivoire has launched the^5th Ivorian academy in Africa, following those of Rwanda, Ghana, the Republic of Congo and Benin.Alliance Smart Africa, a pan-African think tank has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy of Côte d'Ivoire.

Indeed, the Smart Africa Digital Academy (SADA), will help nurture the country's nascent digital sector, through the provision of digital skills through the implementation of various capacity building programs on Big Data & IoT, ICT, and cyber security. Teachers, youth and entrepreneurs are the main beneficiaries of these trainings.

According to the Ivorian Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Amadou Coulibaly, "SADA-Côte d'Ivoire will be one of the key vectors for the operationalization of projects "awareness and training" of the 4th pillar of the National Digital Strategy to 2025, which has the specific objective of developing and promoting digital skills.
