Following the launch of operations on Sunday, the company Air UMZA Air has qualified its inaugural flights Abuja—Ilorin and Ilorin—Abuja of “flawless takeoff” for its new regional link.

In an exclusive interview, the managing director of UMZA Aviation Services Limited, Anachuna Henry, said that the operations inaugurations had recorded a complete occupancy rate, with on board the Abuja-Ilorin maiden flight of notable figures, including the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Elder Kayode Alabi, and a former governor of the state, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed.

For Henry, the airline was encouraged by the smooth running of the flights, describing both segments as evidence of UMZA Air's operational readiness and its commitment to service excellence. The latter indicates that “the plane displayed complete and we were honored to welcome on board the Vice-Governor and former governor Abdulfatah Ahmed for this historic flight.”

Henry reported that the initial feedback of passengers emphasized the punctuality, comfort and quality of service in flight as strengths.
