The Bank of Central African States (BEAC) announced through its Global Commodity Price Index (ICCPB) that exports of the main commodities to the countries of the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa (CEMAC) experienced a revival of activity in the third quarter of the year. They recorded an increase of 0.5% compared to the previous quarter. Indeed, the index stood at 111.03 in the third quarter of 2022 compared to 110.48 in the second quarter. This dynamism is driven by the rise in the prices of energy products of the order of 2.9%.
