The architect Pierre Goudiaby Atepa, 75, has been appointed president of the Senegal Investors Club (CIS). It was at the end of the ordinary general meeting held on January 14, 2022 in Dakar.

Comprised of 12 members, the board of directors unanimously chose the designer of the African Renaissance Monument. Pierre Goudiaby has a degree in architecture from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York. He defended a thesis on the ideal African city and is a visible signature on numerous buildings on the continent, such as the BCEAO headquarters in Dakar. Also, he was CEO of the Regional Securities Exchange (BRVM) between 2015 and 2018 and former special advisor to President Abdoulaye Wade, the iconic Senegalese billionaire has a rich address book that goes from the Atlantic to the Congo River. The election of Pierre Goudiaby as president of the CIS marks a turning point for this organization founded and supported by Babacar Ngom, who did not dismerit.
