After the publication by the World Bank of its traditional doing business report, the authorities
Nigeriens met on November 7, 2019 under the chairmanship of the Head of State, Issoufou Mahamadou,

Even if there are still enormous efforts to be made, for the government, these results prove that Niger
is on the right path. “For the President of the Republic, Niger must be among the first countries
world reformers. That is to say, we must be able to do as much if not better than many who
are ahead today. The President of the Republic would like Niger to be among the 5 most
reformers in Africa and among the 50 reformers at the world level", indicated Alma Oumarou, Minister,
special adviser in charge of the business climate in the cabinet of the presidency.
