The Ivorian Minister of Commerce and Industry, Souleymane Diarrasouba proceeded last Friday, in Abidjan, to the signing of the reception agreement, under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Patrick Jérôme Achi. Thus, the 3rd edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair will take place from November 21 to 27, 2023, in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

The Intra-African Trade Fair will once again be an opportunity to demonstrate all the potential Africa has in all sectors of its economy (industry, agriculture, etc.). 20,000 participants are expected at this business meeting during which business leaders from the continent and elsewhere will come to present their products and services, in order to establish new commercial contracts. The countries of Central Africa will thus have the possibility of giving a boost to sub-regional trade which, so far, is below 3%. A figure which also represents Africa's contribution to world trade. While the rate of intra-African trade is only between 16 and 18% against 84% with external partners.
