Abdoulaye Daouda Diall, representative of the Minister of Finance and Budget, suggested that ABAO, a member of the ECOWAS Private Sector Group, will have a decisive role to play in the implementation of the new roadmap. "For him, good integration must be based on permanent consultation and cooperation between the various actors in all areas, particularly in the banking and financial sector. ECOWAS could become a highly integrated economic area with a viable macroeconomic environment and a well-functioning banking and financial system.
