An official document was sent to ASECNA on October 12, 2022. According to the document, the Cameroon Aeronautical Authority (CCAA) has approved the new airline Zejet.

As of 30 October 2022, an approval was issued to Zejet the day after Air Sénégal announced that it would discontinue its service to Cameroon. This decision is due to “poor financial performance on the Cotonou-Douala-Libreville triangular line since the launch in March 2021.” Zejet, is a holder of operating license number 000150. It should operate in scheduled or on-demand passenger transport, freight and courier services. It represents a potential competitor for Camair Co, which, for its part, is the public air carrier, which has been facing financial and operational difficulties since the launch of its activities in 2011.
