The portfolio of operations of the African Development Bank (AfDB) Group, which stood at approximately 900 billion CFA francs ($1.6 billion) in 2018, currently stands at CFAF 1482 billion, or $2.7 billion.

The new envelope covers thirty-three projects and covers several production sectors, including agriculture, health, education, water, energy, transport and infrastructure. According to the Ministry of Economy, Planning and Spatial Planning, this funding has contributed to the implementation of the development program, the recovery of economic growth and the strengthening of regional integration.

At the end of his stay in Cameroon as AfDB Country Manager, Solomane Koné also announced the launch of the Ring Road construction project in the North-West region to lead to Nigeria whose loan agreement is awaiting signature as well as the construction of the bridge over the Ntem River to connect Cameroon Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.
