The Cameroonian government has ordered an investigation into allegations of embezzlement of funds allocated to the fight against covid-19.

For more than a week, a document presented as a report of the Chamber of Accounts of the Supreme Court, and whose authenticity the latter does not recognize, circulates on social networks. It refers to massive misappropriation of these funds, the amount of which has not been specified, and points to the responsibility of certain ministries or even ministers.     
Cameroonian President Paul Biya has entrusted a special court in charge of corruption cases with thorough investigations to shed light on these accusations that have sparked an outcry on the web.
