As a prelude to the holding of the first Togo-EU Economic Forum on June 13 and 14, a European Chamber of Commerce in Togo (CCET) has just been created. It is chaired by Charles Gafan, CEO of Bolloré Transport & Logistics Togo.

Its vocation is to promote industrial and commercial exchanges between Europe and Togo and to contribute to the improvement of the business climate.

'The Chamber aims to play a leading role in representing the interests of the European community established in Togo with the authorities on general and specific questions of the presence and development of their activities,' explained Mr. Gafan on Wednesday.

The other members of the committee are representatives of large companies, Total, CMA-CGM, Société Générale, Brasserie BB, in particular.
