The Board of Directors of the Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) and the Central Depository/Settlement Bank (Dc/Br) met on 18 June 2021. On the occasion, Parfait Kouassi was reappointed as head of the board of directors of the stock exchange institution.

The directors of the two central structures of the regional financial market of the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU) have renewed their confidence in Dr. Parfait Kouassi for a three-year term to chair their boards of directors. He assured them of his readiness to work for the implementation of the vision and ambitions of the two central structures and the continuation of their development policy begun in recent years.

Parfait KOUASSI was reappointed as head of the board of directors of the BRVM and the DC/BR which met on June 18. For this new mandate, he will occupy the presidency of the WAEMU regional stock exchange for the next 3 years. He was first appointed by the Board of Directors in December 2018 following the resignation of Senegalese Pierre Atépa GOUDIABY.
