According to the market analysis report of Bloomfield Investment Corporation, a rating agency
pan-African company specializing in credit risk assessment, based in Abidjan, the Regional Stock Exchange
securities ( Brvm ) ended the week of September 23-27 down, posting 136.55 points
for the BRVM 10 index (-2.35%) and 142.84 points for the BRVM Composite index (-2.38%).
The market capitalization of the equity market stands at 4,252 billion CFA francs. The transactions
in market value of the shares stood at 2,418 million CFA francs at the end of the week, brought
mainly by the “Public Services” sector (85%).
The SOGB CI share made the most significant progress on the market with a gain of 20.31%, while the
BOA ML stock posted the biggest drop with a fall of 24.48%.
On the raw materials market, cocoa prices continued their upward trend (+2.67% at
London and +0.38% in New York) while rubber and natural gas prices end the week
down (-3.65% and -5.52% respectively).
