Bank Of Africa (BOA) Senegal's after-tax profit fell by 1.448 billion FCFA (2.172 million euros) at the end of the 2020 financial year compared to the 2019 financial year.

The leaders of the subsidiary of the Moroccan banking group BMCE Bank, based in Dakar inform that the profit during 2020 stood at 7.667 billion FCFA against 9.115 billion FCFA, a contraction of 15.88%.

The balance sheet recorded an increase of 26.725 billion FCFA with an achievement that stands at 561.588 billion FCFA against 534.863 billion FCFA in 2019.

The banking institution collected resources from its customers in the amount of 373.182 billion FCFA against 342.477 billion FCFA in 2019, an increase of 30.705 billion FCFA.

As for the loans granted, interest and similar expenses and similar income of BOA Senegal, they saw their level evolve in the period under review.

The bank's general operating expenses increased by 780 million CFA francs, amounting to 16.612 billion CFA francs compared to 15.832 billion CFA francs at 31 December 2019. While the gross operating income (RBE) fell by 10%, from 12.365 billion FCFA in 2019 to 11.128 billion FCFA a year later.
