The Diaspora Bonds of the Banque de l'Habitat du Sénégal (BHS) closed with an oversubscription of 113.9% between May 16 and June 30, 2019. It is one of the few non-sovereign operations on the regional financial market to have recorded such success. As a reminder, the bond loan called "Diaspora Bonds BHS 6.25% 2019-2024", targeted an amount of twenty (20) billion FCFA with an issue price of 10,000 FCFA per bond and an offer of two ( 2) million titles. The objective was to mobilize more long-term resources to finance the priority projects of the first housing bank in the CFA zone.

The success of this operation led by Bocar Sy, CEO of the BHS, and his teams is the result of close collaboration with the Abidjan Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM), the CREPMF (market policeman), the consortium arrangers and lead managers of the operation (Abco Bourse, CGF Bourse, Everest Finance and Impaxis Securities) as well as the underwriting syndicate.
