After two months of training on bookkeeping and team management, the beneficiaries of the first cohort of project promoters supported by the Impulse, Guarantee and Accompaniment Fund (Figa) were presented to the public on June 7 in Brazzaville.After two months of training on bookkeeping and team management, the beneficiaries of the first cohort of project promoters supported by the Impulse, Guarantee and Accompaniment Fund (Figa) were presented to the public on June 7 in Brazzaville.

The fund created by the Congolese state was able to release a total of 210.8 million CFA francs to be deposited with credit institutions. In this process, the Figa is committed to providing guarantees up to 80% to cover the credits granted under the guarantee agreements. All based in Brazzaville and operating in sectors with high employment potential, the entrepreneurs will receive financing according to the size of their projects.

These entrepreneurs are made up of 30% women, 50% developing companies and 50% start-ups. These promoters have gone through the whole process of impetus, namely sensitization and selection of candidate entrepreneurs; capacity building through training in entrepreneurship and management; and mentoring through assistance in the appropriation of the business plan.
