The BRVM 10 and BRVM composite indices ended higher last week. According to the stock market analysis report of Bloomfield Investment Corporation, the Regional Stock Exchange (Brvm) posted a good performance.

The pan-African credit rating agency specializing in credit risk assessment, based in Abidjan, reveals that the BRVM ended the week of 15 to 19 March 2021 higher by posting 124.41 points for the BRVM 10 index (+3.43%) and 141.68 points for the BRVM Composite index (+2.42%).

The market capitalization of the equity market is 4,258 billion CFA francs. Transactions in equity market value recorded 694 million CFA francs at the end of the week, mainly driven by the "Public Services" (41%), "Finance" (34%) and "Agriculture" (12%) sectors.

In the raw materials market, with crude oil and rubber prices ending the week lower, SAPH CI shares were able to achieve the largest increase in the market with a gain of 20.00%.
