The equity segment of the regional stock exchange ended 2020 strong. This is the finding of Impaxis Securities, which informs in its weekly review of the regional stock market that investors have marked their return since the end of October, the BRVM composite and BRVM 10 indices posted gains of 3.22% and 3.68% respectively, in weekly variation.

The Senegalese management and intermediation company (Sgi) Impaxis Securities indicates in its review for the week of 28 to 31 that the activity indicators show a volume of 2,325,471 securities traded for a total value of XOF 8,624,279,830.00 and that the Ecobank C I (ECOC; +7.01% to 3895 XOF) values accounts for 51.99% transaction values for a volume of 1,153,737 securities traded.

The balance of variations shows twenty-three stocks up against eleven down, reports the Sig. Which underlines that except for the BRVM-Other sectors index (-6.66% to 345.49 points), the other six indices recorded gains including the BRVM-Transport which achieved the best weekly sector performance with a gain of 6.72%.
