February 2026, the interrupted rise in the flagship indices of the Regional Stock Exchange
Securities Exchange (BRVM), started on Wednesday, February 4, 2026.
The BRVM Composite Index rose by
0.57% to 379.07 points against 376.92 points the day before. For its part, the clue
BRVM 30 is also up by 0.36% to 177.77 points against 177.13 points the
Standby. For its part, the BRVM Prestige index grew by 0.13% to 154.02
points against 153.82 previously. As for the BRVM Principal Index, it won
1.28% to 250.62 points against 247.46 points the day before.
This improvement is also noticeable in
sectoral indices. The exception of the BRVM Energy Index (-0.65% to 123.98)
points) and the BRVM Financial Services Index (-0.14% to 158.93 points), all
other sectoral indices are on the rise. The biggest increases are
carried out by the BRVM Industrial Index (Plus 4.99% at 197.02 points), BRVM
Basic consumption (plus 2.95% at 256.25 points) and BRVM Consumption
Discretionary (plus 2.88% at 193.84 points).
As for the BRVM index
Composite Total Return (Global Market Return Index), it records
a positive variation of 0.57% at 145.97 points against 145.14 points the day before.
The market capitalization of the equity market increased by
82.608 billion FCFA to 14,615.158 billion FCFA against 14,532.550
billion FCFA on Monday, February 9, 2026. On the other hand, that of the market of
Bonds is still down, from 11 509.942 billion FCFA
The day before at 11,495.517 billion FCFA on February 10, 2026 (-14.425
billions).
The total value of transactions increased from 1.274 billion FCFA the day before to
2.190 billion FCFA this Tuesday, February 10, 2026.
The Top 5 of the largest price increases are occupied respectively by
ERIUM Côte d'Ivoire shares (plus 7.46% at 2,665 FCFA), Oragroup Togo (plus 7.45%
at 2,885 FCFA), Eviosys Packaging SIEM Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.43% at 2,530 FCFA),
Uniwax Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.32% at 2,125 FCFA) and SETAO Côte d'Ivoire (plus 7.32% at 2,125 FCFA)
7.23% to 1 705 FCFA).
The Flop 5 of the largest price declines was occupied respectively by
Ecobank Côte d'Ivoire shares (minus 2.86% at 17,000 FCFA), Vivo Energy Côte d'Ivoire
Ivory Coast (minus 2.78% at 1,750 FCFA), Coris Bank Burkina Faso (minus 2.00% at 12
000 FCFA), TotalEnergies Marketing Côte d'Ivoire (minus 1.64% to 2 405 FCFA) and
BOA Senegal (minus 1.59% at 5 885 FCFA
